If you’re looking for the best beaches in Mallorca, look no further. Mallorca is one of Europe’s most popular summer destinations. And is there any wonder why when it’s got incredible beaches and coves that you could spend several weeks exploring. If you’re a bit of a beach bum like me and love nothing more than digging your toes into the sand and getting salt in your hair, you might as well do it in Mallorca.
Across the whole island, there are 262 Mallorca beaches. I wish I could visit them all. I might make it my life’s mission. But from the beaches I’ve seen so far, these are 7 of the top beaches in Mallorca.

Situated in a national park, Es Trenc is advertised as one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Miles long, with rolling blue waves hitting the shoreline, Es Trenc is pretty. But for those views you’ll be battling a lot of people for a space on the sand while dodging people trying to sell beach blankets and food.
I would recommend this as one of the best beaches in Mallorca, but if you’re looking for somewhere super quiet, this isn’t it. However you can walk away from the main entrance point to quieter sands. If you manage to do that you’ll have beautiful soft sand to relax on and tumbling waves to play in all day long.
As this is a national park, there are parking and toilet facilities for 7 euros. Personally, I didn’t think it was worth it but I was potentially feeling super restless and picky the day I visited…
Cala Pi is much more my scene. Yes it’s busy, and I know that goes against everything I just said, but it feels different here. No one hassles you, people aren’t walking right past the end of your towel, and it’s just got more of a cool feel to it. As it’s more of a cove setting, it’s definitely got that Mallorcan island vibe to it and with the crumbly white boat houses that line the far side of the beach, you can go exploring a bit too.
Parking is easy on the streets around Cala Pi and then it’s just a short walk past some shops, hotels and restaurants before making the walk down the stone steps to the sand…

Another beach with great lifeguard facilities. Also in a national park, you’ll have to pay 5 euros to park but it’s worth it. This beach is really lovely. With blue waters, super soft sand, and a good walk along to the next beach, S’Amarador is somewhere I would’ve liked to have spent more time. Definitely worth the day there if you can!
This beach completely blew my mind. Park in the main car park for free then take the ten-minute walk through residential streets before heading into the trees. You’ll walk a few minutes on a rocky path before the turquoise blue water glimmers through the trees. That’s when you’ll look down on Calo des Moro, one of Mallorca’s best beaches.
Privately owned, this place is the most idyllic place to go for a swim. What’s more, if you walk over the headland, you can get to a second cove called S’Almunia. Two coves for the price of one!
Not only is the drive to Sa Calobra one of the top road trips to take on the island, it’s also one of the coolest beaches. Park up in the main car park – it’ll cost you around 13 euros so make sure you have cash with you! – you’ll walk down to the port where there are a few restaurants and a quaint little beach. But, the magic is if you follow the path around the cove to the left.
Walk through the tunnels in the cliffs and suddenly the view will open to the Torrent des Parais. The actual bay is narrow but it’s landscape before which opens up into the Gorg Blau. This place is perfect for walkers looking for an ocean dip at the end of a trek.

This beach is a popular one. And for good reason. It’s pretty good for anyone. Couples, families, friends…There are pedaloes ready to rent, lifeguards on duty, and plenty of beach to spread out on. If you want to explore a bit, head up on to the steps to walk around the coast. You’ll walk past some boathouses and onto a rocky viewpoint where you’ll get a great look at the beach behind you.
There’s a free car park here which was fairly quiet when we visited but I imagine it’ll get busy in summer.
Port de Soller is a coastal town near the Tramuntana Mountains in Mallorca. Accessed either by bus, car or the island’s famous tram from the pretty town of Soller, Port de Soller is an incredible place to enjoy a day at the beach. Several smaller sections are backed by a long sweeping promenade full of shops and restaurants. It’s easy enough to get a great meal here or some refreshments if you need them while you’re relaxing on the sand. If you want to enjoy a bit more activity, hire a paddle board for a couple of hours or you can just enjoy a day soaking up the sun.

There are plenty of spaces on the beach where you can spread our your own towels. Alternatively you can hire a sun beds, which are 16 euros for 2 for the whole day.
After a day on the beach, enjoy a meal by the marina before heading back to your accommodation.
So those are the best beaches in Mallorca for you to enjoy on your holiday. Which one would you pick?
