You know when you just KNOW that your holiday accommodation is going to be something special? Well I had that feeling about Sa Caseta in Algaida. Air BnB photos promised a little eco friendly studio full of neutral shades, stylish touches, and an interior that can compete with any fancy hotel in Mallorca.

And this Mallorca accommodation didn’t disappoint.

A Review Of An Eco Friendly Finca, Sa Caseta. Our Gorgeous Mallorca Accommodation in Algaida.

Sa Caseta, Mallorca is an eco friendly studio attached to the home of Nagore and Alfredo, a couple who have lovingly made their home an interior lovers dream.

Located in the small town of Algaida, Sa Caseta is a convenient 20-minute drive from Palma Airport. We arrived after an early morning flight to a warm welcome where we had a little tour and some fresh figs and herbs to eat during our stay.

We quickly settled in and ventured straight to the rooftop. As we soaked up the sun and read a book on the rooftop we knew we’d made the right choice for our accommodation in Mallorca. The views take in the surrounding fields and the mountains in the distance.

Sa Caseta is also perfectly located to reach the beaches and coves of the south east of Mallorca. If you have a car, go and visit Calo des Moro, one of the many beaches that are less than an hour away. They’re honestly some of the best on the island and you won’t regret exploring.

That’s if you can tear yourself away from the eco friendly finca of course. When we weren’t exploring, we were pottering around Sa Caseta and chilling out in the patio area. Surrounded by olive trees and covered by cane roofing, it’s an ideal spot to shade you in the sun. Time was spent cooking breakfast on the stove and drinking coffee, watching the sunrise from the rooftop, waking up to the sun streaking through the metal pane windows…

Nagore and Alfredo were also perfect hosts. They offered to BBQ for us one night and also kept us topped up with deliciously sweet fresh figs. Then there’s Leo the cat who was more than happy to keep us company inside and outside the studio.

Despite the rain that plagued us on our first few days in Mallorca, Sa Caseta was the perfect Mallorca accommodation. Definitely a home away from home. It felt so private and despite it being a studio, there’s plenty of room to chill out. We just wish we could’ve made use of the pool but there’s always next time…

Here’s What You Need To Know About Sa Caseta, Mallorca

It has free parking – definitely useful if you’re hiring a car to tour around the island. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pans, plates etc and there’s a fridge and stove for use. Nagore and Alfredo provide towels for use at Sa Caseta and at the beach too. They even leave a beach bag for you! The bathroom includes organic body wash and soap and the bedroom has a clothes hangar and lovely soft lighting.

There’s an outdoor seating area as well as the rooftop and if you’re lucky to have good weather, make use of the pool!

We also booked Sa Caseta, Mallorca on Air BnB which was super easy to do – I wouldn’t hesitate to book this eco friendly accommodation in Mallorca again!

We loved our stay here and would love to return one day to soak up the laid back island life.
