Fika North’s dark aqua exterior unfolds into a welcoming scandi inspired interior with a significant Yorkshire flair. Wooden seats and tables sit alongside panelled and exposed stone walls. A window bar gives the best views for people watching (particularly great on a weekend if people are doing the Otley Run in fancy dress) and the outdoor seating is often shaded by a black and white canopy on a sunny day.
Post-pandemic, Fika North is very much a bagel and cake place. Served from 9am to 3pm, there’s a small but great menu of hot, toasted bagels including salmon and cream cheese, pastrami and jack cheese, smashed avocado, and vegan ham and pickle.
Alternatively, grab a toasted bagel with chocolate spread, marmite, honey, or jam or for a sweet treat, get yours with peanut butter and banana.
If you want cake to go with your coffee, cakes are brought in daily by local Leeds cake makers and will vary from day to day. However, expect caramel slices, fruit oat bars, muffins and cinnamon buns along with a selection of vegan treats.
Fika North pride themselves on sourcing and brewing great speciality coffee from independent coffee roasters around Leeds, Yorkshire, the UK and beyond. Enjoy a latte, espresso, cappuccino, flat white…whatever takes your fancy, Fika North have probably got it. You can also get your order with oat milk and they can add syrup to your drink too.
